The G2 160 R1 12" Midsize.

What is it? Well, this is G2Moto's first "real" midsize. Yes, we have had great sucess and critical acclaim with the 125R4 which is almost a 50 based midsize (but not a true midsize), but the G2 160 R1 is our first true midsize and it is nothing short of amazing.

We began testing this bike in Sept 07 and while we could have simply placed an order with the same company that makes several of our competitors bikes and used most of the same parts like the other guys do, and slapped our stickers on the same old bike, we wanted this bike to be something a little different.

So, we tested and tweaked our frame. We tested the suspension...the engine....the swingarm...etc. Then we raced it and made some more changes until it was a bike that we liked...no, loved! It may look similar at first glance, but look carefully and you'll find everything is there for reasons other than "its on all the other bikes".

We started with an explosive 160cc four stroke engine - gobs of torque and power, 12"/14" wheels, the absolute best performing Chinese/Taiwanese suspension available (The suspension alone puts this bike in another class), a bunch of upgrades like a rear fender brace, rim lock, fat bars, and adjustable triple clamps already installed.

This bike is ready to race. Don't worry about spending another several hundered dollars to get it prepped for racing, because it's ready to race out of the box. Get ready to leave your competitors in a storm of roost!
